The foundation’s story is deeply personal. Our founder, Janet Maison, was born in Ghana and moved to the United States at a young age. Her connection to her homeland has never wavered, and she remains devoted to supporting the communities she holds dear. Despite raising five children and working two jobs to make ends meet, Janet still manages to pour her heart and resources into this mission. She pays the salary of Miraculum’s lead organizer on the ground in Ghana out of her own pocket, ensuring the work continues with care and consistency.

One of the foundation’s primary initiatives is providing for the children at local orphanages in Ghana. With the help of generous donors, Janet regularly collects clothing, shoes, and other essential goods, which she ships overseas to her dedicated team. Once the donations arrive, they are thoughtfully sorted and distributed to children who need them most. Each item represents more than material support; it’s a reminder that someone, somewhere, cares deeply about their future.
